Through their Twitter page, M’M Simulations has revealed four new airports they will work on in 2023. The airports the team plans to bring to Microsoft Flight Simulator include Turku Airport in Finland, Harstad/Narvik Airport in Norway, Esbjerg Airport in Denmark, and Langenthal Airport in Switzerland.
The announcement also suggests that more airports may be added to the roadmap throughout the year. It does not include the currently developed Liegé Airport in Belgium, assuming that because the development has already begun this year, and the roadmap only includes airports the team will start working on in 2023.
Turku Airport for MSFS
The first airport to come in 2023 should be Turku Airport in Finland, serving the second-largest city in Finland, and serving European low-cost airlines as a gateway to Finland. The airport sees regular traffic to both Scandinavian countries and Europe.
Harstad/Narvik Airport for MSFS
Following that, M’M Simulations plan to release Harstad/Narvik Airport in northern Norway with regular flights connecting the region with Oslo, Bergen, or Tromsø. The airport is also used as a military base by the Norwegian Air Force.
Esbjerg Airport for MSFS
Second to last, the team wants to move to Denmark, to Esbjerg Airport, situated on the southwestern coast of mainland Denmark. The airport has very few regular routes, only to small airports in Stavanger, Humberside, and Aberdeen.
Langenthal Airport for MSFS
At last, the team is going to shift their focus to Switzerland, namely Langenthal Airport, located between Zurich and Bern. The airport has a rather short asphalt runway and serves primarily for private aircraft
In the post, M’M Simulations also addressed that they will publish another post in the coming months about the upcoming updates they plan to release to their current sceneries in 2023. Until then, we look forward to what 2023 will bring to all of flight sim community!
