After a successful launch of their Brno Airport (LKTB) scenery last week, MP Scenery did not waste time and already officially announced a new project. This time heading to the west of the Czech Republic. Karlovy Vary is home to numerous hot springs and spas, as well as to beautiful trails around the local mountains.

The new scenery from MP Scenery promises to feature a lot of 3D objects throughout the scenery. Users can expect to enjoy beautiful views of the city and its notable landmarks. Including the nearby Diana observation tower as well as the majority of luxury hotels and hot spring facilities.

The scenery will not only cover the main international airport itself but also Hory Airfield used primarily by general aviation. Also previewed in the announcement post.

MP Scenery did not disclose any information about the release date and pricing details. We expect the price to be similar to the one set for Brno Airport scenery, thus being €21.99 with VAT excluded. The scenery seems to be in the very early stages of development, thus we will have to wait for further details about the release date.

Karlovy Vary Airport (LKKV) is the main airport serving the city of Karlovy Vary in the western Czech Republic. Although there is no scheduled traffic to the airport anymore, Pobeda used to operate flights to Moscow before the pandemic. Karlovy Vary is home to a significant Russian community, hence the scheduled flight.
