MSFS2024 Patch Released, Career Mode Maintenance Finished

The Microsoft Flight Simulator team released version 1.1.10.0, aiming to resolve issues and improve overall stability. Additionally, Career Mode maintenance has concluded, addressing several problems affecting this new feature in MSFS2024.

Stability & Performance

To commence, the team fixed a crash that could occur when navigating quickly between the challenges. Additionally, the developer fixed a crash when trying to adjust Tobii Eye Tracker hardware in the settings menu, among other crashes that disrupted the user experience.

General Bug Fixes

Among the general bug fixes announced by the team, MSFS2024’s developers have fixed the remaining broken jetways. In addition, the message asking the player to link the Steam account has been updated. This update also fixed the unloading/reloading of WASM gauges upon restarting a flight.

Other Improvements

Moreover, the team fixed the impact damage threshold for the contact points of the basket that was causing a back-on-track loop that hard-locked the game for hot air balloons and FlyDOO. The developer also fixed a bug when leaving the flight while in slew mode. Updates have also been implemented to MyLibrary, which now includes tags on disabled items to better reflect why they are disabled. Tags to warn the player if an item has not been verified by the creator have also been added.

Career Mode Maintenance

Finally, the developer announced through its X (formerly Twitter) account that maintenance is complete. Among the fixes included in this maintenance period, a crash that could occur when accessing the career mode if certain conditions were met has been fixed. Furthermore, passive income generating negative amounts when a passive aircraft is out of order has also been solved.

Closing Notes

These updates aim to enhance the overall user experience after the turbulent launch of Asobo’s new flight simulator. The team advises PC users that outdated packages in their community folder may have an unexpected impact on the titleโ€™s performance and behavior. If the users suffer from stability issues or long loading times, the developer suggests moving their community package(s) to another folder before relaunching the title.
