Orbx has recently shared some information about their upcoming update for their tracking software Volanta. You can read more here.

Orbx has recently taken on their forums to reveal some information regarding an upcoming update of their Volanta tracking app. The developer refers to this update as “The Activities Update”

The name of this update comes from the fact that Volanta will now have more activity options to choose from. The main and most highly anticipated feature is the VATSIM and IVAO Event viewer.

Furthermore, there is going to be a real-life schedules browser. However, this is going to be available only for Volanta Premium subscribers. In addition, there is a new achievement for visiting every country in the world.

Another feature is Aerocaches, which is going to be mainly focused on Microsoft Flight Simulator users. This is, as the developer refers to it, a global treasure hunt. You can find how the developer refers to this feature in the quote below.

You’ll be given a clue and the general area to look in. Discover the floating Volanta symbol and fly through it to capture that Aerocache.

And last, but not least, there is a Scenery Map feature, which will help you see your installed and active sceneries on the Volanta map in either of your simulators. This will therefore work in Prepar3D, X-Plane 11 and Microsoft Flight Simulator.
