Orbx Releases Singapore Landmarks for MSFS

Orbx has today released a new product for Microsoft Flight Simulator. First announced back in December 2020, the scenery enhances the default city-state of Singapore.

The scenery offers its users features such as 20 high-detail custom landmarks, 109 medium-detail custom landmarks, extensive terraforming across the coverage area, custom night lighting, or unique laser lights on the Marina Bay Sands Hotel between 7 PM and midnight in the simulator.

Furthermore, the area between Jurong Island and Changi Airport (WSSS) has been enhanced. The scenery should be a great combination with the CloudSurf Asia Simulations’ rendition of Singapore Changi Airport (WSSS).

Landmarks with high-detail are, for example, Supertree Grove, Helix Bridge, or The Fullerton Hotel. The developer says, that medium-detail landmarks are although not as detailed as the high-detail landmarks, though are in perfect balance between quality and performance.

The scenery can be purchased through the Orbx services for approximately €7.80 in an 18.88% discount available until 15th February 2021.

Feature list

  • 20 high-detail custom landmarks including Supertree Grove, Helix Bridge, Marina One, Fullerton Hotel, and the Supreme Court buildings
  • 109 medium-detail custom landmarks, balancing quality and performance
  • Highly detailed Singapore Cable Car with animated gondolas
  • Extensive terraforming across the coverage area, enhancing how our custom landmarks sit within the simulator’s terrain
  • Unique laser lights on the Marina Bay Sands Hotel (between 7PM and midnight)
  • Custom night lighting based on real-world photography.
  • Enhancements to harbour, port, and industrial areas between Jurong Island and Changi Airport
