Parallel 42, formerly known as OldProp, has today officially suspended the development of 777 Immersion V1 product for Prepar3D and Flight Simulator X, and announced that V2 of the product is coming.
As Parallel 42 explained: “We prefer to focus on pushing the envelope of currently available technologies rather than spending time supporting officially retired ones. We’re excited to continue shedding support for FSX products to make way for future technologies. However, it’s important to note that the V1 product still has limited use thru Prepar3D v4. “
With that being said, Parallel 42 has officially suspended future development of 777 Immersion V1 and reduced its price to $10 (€8). The product is not going to be compatible with future builds of Prepar3D v4, and is not, and will not be, compatible with the new major update of the 777 from PMDG.
At the end, Parallel 42 proudly announced, that V2 of the 777 Immersion addon is coming to Prepar3D v5. There were no mentions of the expected pricing model, features, or release date and so all remain unknown for now.
