Parallel 42 To Release a Fully Native Version of The Juice Goose for MSFS2024

The developer Parallel 42, known for creating different add-ons and utilities for various flight simulators, has recently announced news about one of its most highly-rated products: The Juice Goose, first released for MSFS2020, will be released for Asobo’s new flight simulator in a reworked Native version.

What Does The “Native” Terminology Implies?

As explained in our Parallel 42 MSFS2024 Roadmap article, the term “Native” version refers to products updated to fully leverage MSFS2024’s new features, taking advantage of what Asobo’s new simulator offers. Unlike the “Compatible” versions with no major changes from their MSFS2020 version, The Juice Goose will be brought to Asobo’s new simulator in a Native version.

What Will The Juice Goose Native Version Feature?

According to Ed Correia, one of the developers, The Juice Goose Native version will have improved visuals: Dirt and mud layers have been added, with a rebuilt texture set. Big improvements have also been made to the lighting, as shown below.

Additionally, the product will feature new and improved ground handling. Thanks to MSFS2024, the developers were able to take advantage of it, creating a promising new product that will include new ground friction and handling. The developer sounded positive about the new features when he said, “Thought it handled well in 2020? Just wait until you experience it in 2024!”

Closing Notes

The developer reminds its customers that if they own the MSFS2020 version of The Juice Goose, they will be able to get the new Native version for MSFS2024 for only $2. The original article can be found here. If you would like to read more news about flight simulation, check out our main page.
