Parallel 42 Releases Bluffers Hill for MSFS

Parallel 42 has recently released another detailed scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This time, they created the so-called Bluffers Hill, located in Tehama County, California. The team shared the information about this release via their website yesterday.

Something About Parallel 42 Sceneries

Parallel 42 sceneries are well-known for their immersive detail and even storytelling. These sceneries might initially look like they are representing a fictional location, however, they are based on real-world bush airstrips, found in a database maintained by bush pilots, which Parallel 42 has access to.

For now, all of these are located in the American West, either in Utah or California, as well as Pennsylvania in the East.

Lastly, we have received exclusive information that Parallel 42 wants to work on more such sceneries located in Colorado, Idaho, as well as abroad. In the future, these sceneries are also going to be available in bundles for virtual pilots getting into Parallel 42 sceneries.

What does Bluffers Hill Offer?

According to the introduction article, this is another challenging strip to conquer and it is best used with 42BC Bush Campout, 42HB Hogsback Ranch or 42ST Sharktooth Ridge. All of these are located in the vicinity of Red Bluff, California and are designed to create a wonderful multiplayer experience.

Speaking of Bluffers Hill, it offers a dangerous sloped grass runway, with no safe option for a go-around. Parking is also very limited and it is highly recommended to use STOL aircraft to fly here.

Speaking of the scenery features, there is a custom 3D library of on-ground assets, custom terraforming, that better represents the location in the simulator.

Currently, you can get the scenery via the Parallel 42 website for €8.95. In the near future, it is also going to be available via Orbx and Marketplace for both PC and Xbox.
