PMDG Boeing 777 for MSFS Unveiled

The PMDG Boeing 777 for MSFS was fully unveiled today in a YouTube Premier on PMDG’s YouTube channel. The video titled “PMDG 777 for Microsoft Flight Simulator: First Look” breaks down the building blocks of this highly anticipated MSFS add-on.

According to the video description, PMDG plans to bring the Boeing 777 to MSFS in full fidelity. The release will start with the Boeing 777-300ER with the 777-200ER, 777-200LR, and the 777F planned for future products. All aircraft will have unique and accurate models reflecting those of their real-world counterparts. Additionally, the 777 release will bring many new PMDG-exclusive features to MSFS. These include a comprehensive aircraft maintenance tracker, reworked aircraft management, and an updated flight tablet.

The video showcased the first complete images of the 777 cockpit, as well as many shots highlighting the high-effort modeling that has gone into critical components such as the landing gear. The cockpit showcases reveal that unlike the PMDG 777 for Prepar3D, on which this is based, the MSFS version will use the PMDG UFT instead of an integrated EFB. As discussed in previous development updates, the aircraft management controls that were integrated into the FMC have also been moved to the UFT.
