REX Simulations has today came to their social networks to announce the release of their first addon for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator – Weather Force 2020.
Weather Force 2020 is a METAR-based dynamic real-time weather engine for the new simulator. It promises accurate weather based on METAR data. Weather is updated every 10 minutes while the default weather engine updates weather data every 30 minutes.
Weather Force also includes a wide range of proprietary dynamic, changingย (non-static)ย weather scenarios. These scenarios are unlike the static weather presets that ship with Microsoft Flight Simulator.ย ย

An option to search for specific weather is also included in the application. Therefore, if you want to fly in specific weather, you can simply search for its location.
The developer’s goal is to provide the users with an even more robust weather environment for the simulator. Smooth transitions between different weather conditions are also featured in the application.
