Home Airbus cockpit builders can now get one step closer to completing their full build with the A117 A320 Glareshield Panel from Rowsfire, now available for preorder. Rowsfire’s founding principle of bringing affordable professional-grade hardware to the flight simulation community continues to shine through in this piece of hardware’s promised solid build quality.

The A117 is proportionally a 1:1 replica of the real glareshield warning light panel found on Airbus A320 series aircraft, and features a strong, durable steel enclosure. Printed text is in high-definition graphics, and the front panel is made from 4mm-thick acrylic, protected by a scratch-resistant surface film. The look and feel is meant to replicate the real Airbus cockpit aesthetic.

Tactile travel keys give each button press an authentic feel, and their high-power backlights synchronize to the virtual aircraft’s panel in real time. Rowsfire showed off their latest product in a short video, giving an idea of the satisfying sound and feel users will experience with every panel interaction.

It’s also designed to integrate perfectly into the Rowsfire A220 Glareshield & Main Instrument Panel Frame. The A117’s rear 100x100mm VESA mounting holes line up with the glareshield zone of the frame, and a rear reading-light interface with the A220 facilitates immersive ambient lighting.

No captain or first officer cockpit replica is left out, since Rowsfire will produce both the left- and right-side units at equal pricing, naming them the A117L and A117R respectively. Additionally, this hardware supports all your favorite A320 series aircraft, including the Fenix, FSLabs, and FlyByWire Airbus renditions for MSFS 2020 and 2024, and the Toliss aircraft for X-Plane 12.

Rowsfire wanted to make setup as easy as possible. The unit is powered and controlled by a single USB cable and, via the Rowsfire App, features plug-and-play operation. More technical users will be happy to know that Mobiflight can also be used for advanced custom key mapping.
