Sim Update 15 Delayed, A320NEO in Beta

Yesterday evening the Asobo team shared some not-so-good news about the upcoming Sim Update 15, which should have been released today, March 26th. Unfortunately, the release has been moved to an uncertain date in April.

The Simulator Update 15 has been in public beta testing for a while now, and while the official release should have happened today according to the roadbap, certain issues with the update caused the delay. This means that this coming update remains in beta testing for another few weeks. The Asobo team said that the release will happen in April, but they are not yet certain what date is the release going to occur.

Thus, the team aims to rather bring a finished update than publish an update that is not finished and might cause issues for users.

The most significant improvement in the Sim Update 15 is going to be the presence of the Microsoft/iniBuilds Airbus A320NEO v2, which will bring significant improvements over the current default A320NEO.

Fortunately, if you would like to try the Microsoft/iniBuilds A320NEO now, you can do so, as it is already available in the Sim Update 15 public beta. Beware, as the simulator is a public beta version, issues may occur and do not resemble the final products.
