The developer SKYDOM has recently informed us about a new scenery they have been working on for X-Plane 11, covering the international cargo hub of Dubai Al-Maktoum (OMDW) in the United Arab Emirates. It is the developer’s first premium product for the simulator.

This scenery of Dubai Al-Maktoum for X-Plane 12 promises a highly detailed recreation of this airport, with highly detailed terminals and executive aviation facilities. The Emirates SkyCentral cargo complex is also fully modelled, as well as the Emirates Flight Training Academy with its designated runway, apron and the campus.

The scenery also includes the passenger terminal areas, Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub and the Dubai Airshow Venue. With all of that, SKYDOM still promises good performance optimisation and high visual quality.
The scenery is now available to be purchased through Simmarket for €20.91. The price includes our local 23% value-added tax, so the price may differ a little bit in your region. You can also check their previous project, covering the Red Sea International Airport (OERS), here.
