SoFly, a developer known for past releases such as Global Landings: Northeast Asia, has taken to its social media to update on the state of Hannover Airport (EDDV) for MSFS. Additionally, the team introduced a brand new Airport Product Transfer (APT) programme for all current and future SoFly customers.
Hannover Airport has Entered Beta Testing
Being the country’s ninth-largest airport by passenger volume, Hannover Airport is an important flight hub in Germany, serving approximately six million passengers annually. The airport is soon coming to MSFS, as SoFly has shared different screenshots of the new rendition that the testers have taken.

New Airport Product Transfer Programme
Designed to allow flight sim customers to experience SoFly airport products at reduced rates, the new programme allows users to get a special discount if they own an airport from another developer that is the same as SoFly’s. For example, if a user owns UK2000 Scenery’s Cardiff Airport (EGFF), then he/she can fill out a simple form to transfer to the SoFly version with a significant discount applied (up to 50%).
As of today, three products are eligible to be transferred to the applicable SoFly version: EGFF Cardiff Airport (UK2000 Scenery), LWOH Ohrid Airport (Orbx), and SCIP Mataveri Airport (Simulación Extrema).

Closing Notes
The team is evaluating the possibility of including Hannover Airport in the Airport Product Transfer Programme, however, the product still does not have a release date. If you would like to know when the product will be released, do not hesitate to check out our website frequently.
