SoFly, known for their diverse range of products and add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS), recently released a teaser video on YouTube showcasing their upcoming addition. The video reveals a highly detailed recreation of Hannover Airport.
Hannover Airport: German Hub with GA Apron
Hannover Airport (Flughafen Hannover-Langenhagen, ICAO: EDDV) is an international airport in Germany. It is the country’s ninth-largest airport by passenger volume, serving approximately six million passengers annually. Unusual for a German airport is the fact that it operates 24/7, handling both domestic and international flights from airlines like Eurowings or Austrian. Additionally, it features a dedicated General Aviation Terminal for private and business aviation.
SoFly’s Detailed Recreation
In the video, SoFly describes this new release as their most detailed add-on. The teaser includes impressive shots of the airport and its surroundings, such as a bus terminal with working departure timetables, parking lots, and interior areas like security checkpoints. All content shown is still a work in progress and may change as development continues.
While no official release date has been announced, the add-on is expected to launch in spring 2025. Details on pricing and download size have yet to be revealed.
