The developer ST Simulations has finally revealed the product page of their upcoming scenery of Maastricht-Aachen Airport (EHBK) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. After the recent showcase of previews, the scenery is getting closer to release.
About Maastricht-Aachen Airport
Maastricht-Aachen Airport (EHBK) is an international airport located in Limburg, Netherlands, approximately 30 kilometres away from Maastricht in Germany. Its strategic position on the borders between the Netherlands and Germany makes it one of the few airports in Europe serving more than one country at the same time. Another example of this could be Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg Airport, located between Switzerland, France and Germany.
The first plans for the airport in this area date back to 1919, with various locations being considered. Overall, the initial construction of the airport was slow, as in 1939, the Second World War struck Europe and the plans were put on hold. The first civilian aircraft landed here in September of 1945.

Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, the airport was significantly expanded with various routes, as the airport was operated by many airlines, such as KLM, Euravia, Tradair and Transair.
Nowadays, the airport is able to handle large aircraft like the 747, as the airport is also being used for cargo operations. Speaking of civilian operations, passengers can get to Antalya, Tuzla, Alicante, Barcelona, Heraklion and even Hurghada from this airport.
About the ST Simulations’ Upcoming Scenery

ST Simulations mentioned that the scenery is going to be available for both PC and Xbox versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator, and will be available as payware.
