ToLiss Reveals New Airbus A330 Details

In a tweet posted yesterday, August 28, ToLiss revealed some new details about its upcoming Airbus for X-Plane 12. In a previous teaser, ToLiss revealed this new Airbus to be an A330 and the latest tweet has confirmed the variant to be the A330-900neo.

Just like the A320neo, the A330neo is a re-engine of the old -200 and -300 variants of the A330. The neo’s Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines have double the bypass ratio of the old Trent 700s used to power the ceo variant. These engines, along with various aerodynamic improvements, give the A330-800neo and the A330-900neo a much-increased fuel efficiency over their ceo counterparts.

ToLiss’ announcement revealed that the new A330-900 will feature a head-up display, new radio panels, and the usual quality you’ve come to expect from the developer. The shared work-in-progress images show the exterior and interior, highlighting the aforementioned HUD and radio panels. ToLiss says that most of the work on the A330 is complete, except for the textures.
