Firstly, PBR texturing is thoroughly present throughout the airport. The apron consists of high-resolution ground imagery and true to life ground markings.

Similarly, UK2000 revised the mesh, which gives the airport’s runway a true-to-life slope. Additionally, the scenery offers custom night lighting and effects, allowing users to fly to and from the airport during the night.

Other notable features include custom made animated jetways, GA static aircraft, animated artefacts and internal tower and pier modelling.

Cardiff Airport is located several miles west of the city centre of the Welsh capital. It is Wales’ busiest airport, with an impressive passenger flow of 1.66 million in 2019. The airport mainly serves holiday destinations. For example, these include Tenerife, Dublin or even Alicante. Most operations are done by low-cost and charter airlines such as Ryanair and TUI.

If you are interested, you can buy the addon from UK2000’s website for an approx price of 17.80 EUR (or £14.99). Please do note that the UK2000 Commons Library is required for the scenery to work. This is provided free of charge.
