Through its Discord server, the Cross The Pond (CTP) Planning Team has, after discussions with its partners, decided to “take a temporary break to determine the future of CTP,” which translates into the cancellation of its 2025 edition held in the VATSIM network.

The Team’s Statement

With the enjoyment of the flight simmers and virtual ATCOs in mind, the team has stated that it will revise aspects of how the event is carried out in order to improve the experience for everybody. The original statement continues as follows:

“We will take this opportunity to revise some aspects of how we create and manage the event, to lead to a better experience for all those involved – Division/vACC staff, pilots, and very importantly, ATCOs.
We understand that this might cause some frustration, and believe us, this was not an easy decision. We hope to count on your support and understanding.”
