The development team of Verticalsim has recently taken to their Facebook page to announce the ongoing work on their upcoming airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Verticalsim aims to bring the Southwest Florida International Airport (KRSW) to life for the Asobo’s platform.
About Southwest Florida Airport
Southwest Florida International Airport is the second-busiest single-runway airport in the United States. It is situated in a nature-filled area, making the approach and views from the aircraft stunning.

The airport also offers a wide variety of short-range flights all across the United States and Canada. Some of the routes include direct flights to Toronto, New Haven, Cleveland, Denver, Atlanta, Montréal, Minneapolis and Chicago O’Hare.
Verticalsim’s Progress
The developer also created a special website where fans can track the progress of their upcoming scenery projects. So far, Southwest Florida International Airport is only 5% done. Thus, it is uncertain when the airport might be released.
