Verticalsim Releases Ontario Airport for X-Plane 12

The well-known developer Verticalsim, responsible for a wide range of sceneries of American airports for both Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane, has updated their rendition of Ontario Airport (KONT) to be compatible with X-Plane 12.

Ontario Airport is an international airport in San Bernardino County, California, United States. It is located approximately 60 kilometres from Los Angeles and it covers around 705 ha of area.

Speaking of facilities, the airport is equipped with two parallel runways and two passenger terminals as well as a cargo terminal, as the airport serves as one of the main UPS hubs in the Western United States.

Verticalsim mentions that this iteration of Ontario Airport includes the new native X-Plane 12 features, such as the weather maps on the ground, creating a better, more immersive experience when flying in rainy conditions.

Furthermore, the scenery includes the 2023 airport layout, HDR lighting, PBR on nearly all materials and even animated vehicle traffic, making the scenery feel more life-alike.

Users who already own the X-Plane 11 version of the scenery are entitled to an upgrade fee of approximately €4.56. If you don’t own the scenery yet, you can get it through the Verticalsim website for around €14.60.
