Virtavia Releases Imposing B-1B Lancer for MSFS

Virtavia, a developer known for their military aircraft renditions, took to their website to announce the release of their B-1B Lancer rendition for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Virtavia Rendition Offerings

In their post, Virtavia stated that this B-1B rendition is a port-over from their Prepar3D model. Consequently, customers can expect similar features to be implemented in this MSFS version.

This B-1B rendition features a fully modelled cockpit, with extensive animations, varying from rain animations on the windshield to the ladders and hatches near the flight deck. This rendition also uses Wwise audio, accurately depicting the engine noise, ambient rumble and cockpit switch sounds.

Regarding armament, the bomb bays can be opened and closed. They can even carry up to 24 JDAMs (Joint Direct Attack Munition), albeit they cannot be dropped.

Unfortunately, this MSFS version of the B1-B Lancer is limited to subsonic speeds only, which the developer intends to rectify soon.

Pricing and Availability

This B-1B Lancer rendition is available on SimMarket for €22.50 (inc. 20% tax). To learn about the developer and their other releases for MSFS, feel free to read Ville’s article on the matter.
