Developer X-Crafts gave a small presentation on stage during FSExpo 2025 about their upcoming work for X-Plane. Among the announcements, we can find that a new version of the E-Jets for X-Plane will soon arrive. The brand new ERJ family v2.0 will be released for X-Plane 12, boasting multiple new upgrades compared to the previous add-on. The developer also revealed on stage a brand new add-on coming to both X-Plane 11 and 12. The E-Freighter will bring the E190F and E195F to the simulator, completing the full Embraer family.
E-Jets 2.1
The new version of the E-Jets by X-Crafts will focus on bringing an updated autopilot to this add-on. E-Jets 2.1’s new autopilot will boast improved holding patterns, sequences, and missed approaches procedures. These changes will be the base for future development and improvements of the E-Jets. Other changes will also arrive with version 2.1. However, these other changes were not revealed at this time.
ERJ Family 2.0
A brand new add-on featuring the ERJ Family of aircraft will be released soon by X-Crafts. The developer has returned to develop this type of aircraft since their first iteration for X-Plane 11 back in 2019. This new version will be released for X-Plane 12 and will include new features like a realistic FMS and reworked avionics. ERJ Family 2.0 will feature new custom systems proper for this type of aircraft and some of the features X-Crafts is known for. The ERJ Family 2.0 is set to release this year, according to the developer.
E-Freighter E190F and E195F
A completely new add-on from X-Craft was formally announced during their stage presentation. The developer is currently developing the E-Freighter for X-Plane 11 and 12. This regional cargo plane will have all the automation features from the E-Jets with extra features proper from this aircraft. An interactive cargo loader will also be included with this add-on. No further information about this add-on was provided by X-Craft at this time, like price or release window.
