Aerosoft Updates CRJ for MSFS

Aerosft has recently released their first update for their recently released rendition of Bombardier CRJ 550/700 aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Being the first payware airliner for the platform, the initial release of the aircraft was highly anticipated within the community, and more information about it can be read in one of our articles here.

While bringing the aircraft to version 1.0.0.1, the update brings a plethora of fixes and improvements to the addon such as: reworked exterior lighting to enable volumetric effects, added function to delete constraints on the LEGS page, new glide slope hold function, or reworked EFB colors.

Additionally, the throttle control in the aircraft was improved to better replicate the real counterpart, and the flight model was updated to better simulate spoiler effect. Furthermore, animations around the aircraft were tuned together with the weight & balance configurator of the addon.

The update can be downloaded either through the Aerosoft website, or through the in-game Marketplace. If you wish to purchase the aircraft, you can do so throught the Aerosoft website or in-game Marketplace for €42 with VAT excluded.

Alongside this project, the developers at Aerosoft are as well working on their Airbus aircraft range and a Twin Otter, both for the Microsoft Flight Simulator.

For those unfamiliar with the aircraft, the Bombardier CRJ, also known as the CRJ Series, is a series of regional jets manufactured in Canada. Based on the variant, the aircraft can seat up to 104 passengers with a range of up to 1650 nautical miles.
