Axonos Releases Richmond International Airport for MSFS

The development team of Axonos has published a new scenery, covering Richmond International Airport in Virginia, United States.

Richmond International Airport (KRIC) is a joint civil-military airport in the town of Sandson. The airport itself is located about 10 kilometres away from Richmond. The airport was established in 1975. During the early 2000s, this airport went through extensive growth, and in 2005, a complete redesign was announced. During this enhancement, the airport obtained more gates and added parking spaces, with a new terminal roadway and control tower.

Currently, the airport is mostly operated by Breeze Airways, Allegiant and Southwest Airlines, with various destinations across the whole of the United States. Virtual pilots can thus enjoy realistic flights to Detroit, Washington, Nashville, Fort Worth, New Orleans or San Francisco from this airport.

Axonos created a detailed depiction of this airport, with detailed 3D models, all covered in crisp 4K textures. You can also find custom static general aviation and cargo aircraft, enhancing the experience while flying to this airport. If you wish to fly on a network, Axonos also provides its customers with disabling these static aircraft from the scenery.

Speaking of flying on a network, virtual pilots will appreciate the accurate airport layout with realistic custom ground polygon and included GSX profile for the best possible ground operations experience.
