Boundless Teases Kemble Airport for X-Plane 11

After announcing a new project not even a week ago, Boundless has taken to their social network profiles, including their Discord server, to share two previews of what looks like to be a Kemble Airport (EGBP) scenery in X-Plane 11.

While the subject airport was not confirmed by the developer, we are almost certain it is Kemble Airport (EGBP) based on the fact that the airport is nowadays used to store and recycle retired airliners. Additionally, when comparing the airport layout visible on the screenshots with the imagery available online, they match.

Both previews showcasing a static Boeing 737s parking at the airport’s eastern part just next to the runway 26 entry point can be seen below.

The release date and pricing details remain unknown. This announcement was made just a few days after announcing Hull Royal Infirmary Helipad scenery and releasing an update for their Birmingham Airport scenery bringing it to v2.1.

Officially known as Cotswold Airport (EGBP), it is located just a few miles out of Kemble in the United Kingdom. While it is nowadays mainly used to recycle and store retired airliners, the Red Arrows aerobatics team was based at the airport until 1983. The airport is located outside of controller airspace and so is great for training purpouses.
