Chudoba Design Reveals Prague Airport Release Date (XP11)

Chudoba Design has yesterday premiered, through their YouTube channel, a video teaser of their biggest project yet – Prague Airport (LKPR) scenery for X-Plane 11. While mostly targetting the Czech flight simulation community, with the scenery being the first payware scenery for the platform Chudoba Design will for sure please more than one flight simmer from abroad.

Based on the video teaser and attached media, the scenery is currently expected to be released in seven days, on Sunday 27th, June 2021. Once released we can expect the scenery to offer accurate building and object placement for the best immersion, PBR textures, custom night environment, or custom animated jetways and marshallers using SAM plugins.

Additionally, high-quality orthoimagery will be present in the scenery covering not only the airprot area, but close vicinity as well. The orthoimagery will be compatible with Ortho4XP. Last but not least, the terrain around the scenery has been adjusted for the best experience and realism possible.

It has been confirmed by the developer, that while the initial release version of the scenery will cover only the airport itself, they want to bring surrounding of the airport and some landmarks throughout Prague to the scenery in the future.

The expected price of the scenery remains unknown, however, Filip from Chudoba Design has stated, that whatever the price will be, it will be worth it.

Václav Havel Airport is located in the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague. The airport saw over 17 million passengers last year mainly traveling to Amsterdam and Paris. The airport sees use from almost every major European airline as well as use from Emirates, Qatar Airways, and Delta Air Lines.
