FlightControlSpotter has been released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. Made by the same developer behind FlightControlReplay 5, FlightControlTools, this new product brings a new way to plane spot inside MSFS 2020 and 2024.

What is FlightControlSpotter?

FlightControlSpotter gives you all the tools you need to spot other aircraft inside the simulator with ease. It has been fully integrated with the in-sim toolbar and provides quick access to view the nearest tower, airport or a custom-defined spotting location. There are no external apps with FlightControlSpotter, just one simple in-sim toolbar menu.

Built around the default Microsoft Flight Simulator drone camera, it allows full freedom of movement, zoom and angle control while spotting. It’s an easy way to capture cinematic screenshots, videos, or just to enjoy the view. Once you’re done watching, one button puts you straight back into the cockpit. It brings a unique way to experience the simulator outside the cockpit.

For ease of use, you are able to jump to different locations and views, including the nearest tower view, runways or parking spots by ICAO and custom spotting views defined by the user. You can browse for airports within 200 NM of your location and save any favourites for later. All views are kept locally, and drone camera integration allows for easy custom locations with the perfect view.

FlightControlSpotter is available for PC only for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. Xbox may be supported in the future, according to the developer. You can purchase FlightControlSpotter from simMarket for €15 or buy FlightControlReplay with it as a bundle for €29.99.
