FS Conference 2025 will be held on November 15th at the Paderborn/Lippstadt Airport (EDLP) terminal. Entry to the event is free for all attendees. The event will feature presentations, seminars, and exhibitor stands focused on developments in flight simulation software and hardware.

What is FS Conference?

FS Conference continues the tradition of the Flugsimulator Konferenz, originally launched by Aerosoft in 2002. The 2024 edition recorded over 400 visitors and more than 20 exhibitors from seven countries, including Aerosoft, Honeycomb, HomeSim, and MobiFlight.

This year marks the 20th edition of the event, and the programme again includes multiple presentations and opportunities for attendees to test new products from participating companies as well as meet with other flight simulation enthusiasts. In the evening, the event will conclude with the Captain’s Dinner, where participants can meet and exchange experiences over food and drinks. More details about the programme and exhibitors can be found on the official FS Conference website.

MobiFlight Workshops

MobiFlight is an open-source platform used by home-cockpit builders and enthusiasts that connects real-world hardware with flight simulators. It can read inputs from microcontrollers like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or Leo Bodnar boards, and translate them into simulator commands. These can be sent as keypresses or written directly to variables such as LVARs and datarefs in Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, and Prepar3D.

A MobiFlight workshop will take place during the conference, starting at 15:00 in the Aerosoft area. The session aims to guide attendees through building and configuring a device for use with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. Once again, this information and more details can be found on the FS Conference website.
