Following on from the release of Berlin-Tegel Airport (EDDT) for both Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane, Gaya Simulations have now released the airport scenery for Prepar3D v4+.
Using the same attention to detail they have incorporated into the previous simulators, the developers and artists have spent months searching through images, maps and other documents to produce a highly realistic rendition of Berlin-Tegel Airport.
As mentioned in a previous article a few days ago, the scenery was developed from scratch, implementing the latest tools available for Prepar3D. Though it has not been confirmed, as no feature list has been published, the scenery is expected to feature seasonal variations and highly detailed PBR textures.
Berlin-Tegel was Germany’s forth busiest airport. Unfortunately the airport is due to close, in November this year, because Berlin Brandenburg Airport (EDDB) has now opened. Berlin-Tegel will, no doubt, live on in the simulated world.
Berlin-Tegel is available from Orbx priced $31.00 AUD.
