IndiaFoxtEcho Visual Simulations, a renowned developer of military add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator and DCS, has released a new update covering the current status of its ongoing projects for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The developer cites a busy schedule across several titles as the reason for fewer public updates in recent weeks and has provided a brief summary of each aircraft in development.

Eurofighter Typhoon

The Eurofighter project is currently in an advanced stage. The aircraft is flyable, and many systems are complete or nearing completion. Remaining tasks include the modeling and texturing of specific components such as the landing gear, slats, and speedbrake. No firm release date has been announced, though it is not expected before the end of summer.

F-16A Falcon (in collaboration with Heatblur Simulations)

The F-16A, developed in collaboration with Heatblur Simulations, is nearly finalized in terms of geometry. Texturing is still in progress, and avionics and flight model development have begun. The aircraft is expected to reach beta in the coming months.

TA-4J Skyhawk

Work on the TA-4J Skyhawk continues, with the external model complete and most textures in place. The cockpit geometry is also full, with unwrapping and avionics coding underway. This project is currently secondary to the Eurofighter and the F-16A in terms of development priority.

F-35 Lightning II (Remastered)

A remastered version of the F-35 is in early stages. While this update will primarily focus on a graphical refresh, some planned functional improvements may also be implemented in a future update to the existing version.

Additional Product Updates

IndiaFoxtEcho is preparing updates for previously released aircraft, including the F-14 Tomcat, the M-346, and the Tornado. The team is reviewing whether to integrate newly developed code features from the Eurofighter into these models. Work is expected to continue next week.

DCS G.91

Progress on the DCS G.91 has been slower than originally intended, but development is ongoing. New screenshots and further details are planned for release in the near future.

IndiaFoxtEcho concludes the update by acknowledging the current focus on development over communication, referencing the aviation phrase “Aviate, Navigate, Communicate.” If you are curious about IndiaFoxtEcho products or are interested in the military aviation topic, make sure to read our review of IndiaFoxtEcho’s F-14.
