Just Flight has released the latest version of their BAe 146 Professional add-on, now fully compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The changelog for this update was shared by the developer last week, giving the community a sneak peek at all the changes coming with Version 2.4. The primary focus of this update is to completely rebuild this add-on from the ground up, making it fully compatible with MSFS 2024. It adds improvements and features exclusive to MSFS 2024 to this add-on, like the walkaround mode.
146 Profesional Version v2.4
Version 2.4 is a complete overhaul of this add-on, initially released for MSFS 2020. This update now makes this add-on feel like a native MSFS 2024 product. It comes with the walkaround mode exclusive to MSFS 2024, allowing to interact with certain ground elements. This update also adds a new model for the aircraft and improved performance on both MSFS 2020 and 2024.
Another big change included in this update is the new EFB v3. It comes with a new tablet model, making it look more modern. The EFB interface has been updated, adding new features like Navigraph En Route Charts and a SimBrief flight plan and payload import option to the flight computer and EFB.
Most of the aircraft’s systems, including electrical, fuel, and hydraulic, have been improved in this update. Changes to the flight model of the 146 have been incorporated. Other changes to the systems include a corrected passenger count inside the aircraft for the passenger variant and multiple alerts being updated for improved realism.
The passenger cabin has been reworked, featuring a refreshed cabin design and new features. The lighting inside the cabin is more accurate and is comparable to the real aircraft. A new stairs control feature in the front galley has been added, adding to the overall realism of this add-on. Other systems, like announcements and an “auto cabin music” feature, have been implemented.
Version v2.4 is now available to all customers of the 146 Professional for both MSFS 2020 and 2024. Some features introduced in this update are exclusive to MSFS 2024, like the walkaround mode. This update will drop at a later date for customers who purchased this add-on via third-party stores. Just Flight is running a sale for this add-on until the 10th of December.
