Formerly mostly Prepar3D-focused developer, PerfectSoft Studio, has recently released their first scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator covering a major international airport. With the first release for the platform earlier this year, it only covered a small airport in northeastern Morocco – Bouarfa Airport (GMFB).
This time though, the developers have recreated the second-busiest airport in the country, Marrakech Menara Airport (GMMX) serving the city of Marrakesh in central Morocco. Annually, the airport sees over 6 million passengers and serves as a hub for Ryanair and Royal Air Maroc with routes not only through Africa, but also to Europe, and the Middle East.
Regarding the scenery itself, it offers 4K resolution textures with PBR materials throughout the entire airport, custom taxiway signs with hand-painted markers, realistic and accurate night lighting, or animated jetways, for example.
Additionally, the developers have accurately placed over 100 thousand vegetation objects around the scenery for the best immersion possible in that field.
The scenery was originally developed for Prepar3D and released in August last year, however, this new version is “packed with upgrades and important enhancements“, as the developer wrote.
The scenery can be purchased through SimMarket for €15 with taxes excluded. It should come to the in-game Marketplace soon as well.
