Good news for flight simulation fans: registration for Tours & Experiences at FlightSimExpo 2026 opened this weekend. The event will take place from June 12 to 14 in Saint Paul, at the RiverCentre. It is one of the biggest flight sim events in the world.
What is FlightSimExpo?
FlightSimExpo is a three-day convention for simmers, pilots, and developers. Visitors can see new products, try flight simulators, and join workshops. There are also panel discussions where experts talk about aviation and simulation. The event is organized by the Flight Simulation Association.
Tours and Activities
This year, visitors can also join special tours in and around Saint Paul to add more fun to their FSExpo stay. Some highlights include:
- A bus tour at the airport with views of real aircraft
- A visit to Delta’s technical operations facilities
- A 5K fun run for sporty attendees
- A walking brewery tour in the city
- A trip to the famous Mall of America
These activities give visitors a chance to explore aviation and local culture.
Registrations for these tours and activities will be open for everyone on April 19 at 17:00 Zulu Time (UTC). Additional information on these can be found under flightsimexpo.com/tours.

More to Come
In May, more sign-ups will open for activities inside the exhibition hall. These include guided tours, developer classes for X-Plane, and even mentoring sessions with real airline pilots. The Microsoft Flight Simulator team has already confirmed they will attend as an exhibitor.
FlightSimExpo is not just about software. It is also about community. You can meet other simmers, learn new skills, and have fun together. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, there is something for everyone.
Tickets are already available, and hotels and flights can be booked with discounts. If you are interested in flight simulation, this event is surely worth a visit.
Stay tuned for the event as we will cover everything interesting happening at FSExpo.
