Terrainy Studios has today taken to their Facebook Page to announce the release of their rendition of Samos Airport (LGSM) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The release happened as announced yesterday in a post made on the same platform.
It is the first scenery released for the new simulator by Terrainy Studios as well as the first scenery in the product lineup of Aegean Airports Terrainy Studios has introduced back with the announcements post.
Based on the product page, the scenery offers highly detailed models, up to 8K textures using PBR, realistic 3D night lighting, fully working ground and ATC services as well as custom placed vegetation and buildings in the close vicinity of the airport. In addition, custom landmarks have been placed around the island. The complete feature list can be found below.
The scenery can be yet purchased only through SimMarket for €18 excluding VAT. The scenery should become available on Aerosoft website soon.
We have been hinted in a direct email from the team in the past, that Prepar3D and X-Plane 11 variants are also scheduled and should be released in the near future.
Samos Airport (LGSM) is an international, and main, airport serving the island of Samos in Greece. The airport sees mainly seasonal traffic and is notably known for its dangerous approach. Annually, about 500 thousand people visit the airport.
