WINGFLEX has announced the Gear Manage Panel (GMP), a new peripheral designed to bring aircraft-inspired landing gear and autobrake controls to desktop flight simulation. Pre-orders opened on August 25, 2026, at $159 USD (~€135 EUR), with official sales and shipping scheduled to begin on September 1st.
The GMP consists of two modules, the GMP Autobrake and GMP Gear and Pressure Indication, combining essential landing gear and autobrake controls with system indications and an aviation clock. The panel features 21 functional switches, a landing gear control lever, a circular hydraulic and brake pressure display, and an ambient light sensor.
Aircraft-Inspired Design
According to WINGFLEX, the panel takes its design and operating logic from real aircraft hardware, in this case an Airbus cockpit. The landing gear lever uses an aluminum construction with a pull-to-release safety mechanism, adjustable damping and tuned spring tension.
Position detection is handled by a Hall sensor (read our editorial, which explains the difference between Hall sensors and potentiometers!), which is designed to provide consistent operation while reducing mechanical wear. The PC+ABS housing uses a modular design, allowing the panel to be mounted and combined in different configurations.

Integrated Display and Clock
The circular HD display provides hydraulic and brake pressure information, while the integrated aviation clock supports CHR, UTC and ET functions. It also offers automatic local-time synchronization and adjustable brightness.
An ambient light sensor can automatically adjust the display brightness depending on the surrounding conditions. The clock remains operational even when the flight simulator itself is not running.
HID and Simulator Integration
The GMP uses a standard HID gaming controller protocol, allowing the device to be recognized without dedicated drivers and enabling direct function mapping in compatible simulators. For more advanced cockpit configurations, WINGFLEX also lists support for platforms such as MobiFlight and SPAD.neXt.
The GMP is aimed at flight simulation users looking for dedicated landing gear and autobrake controls in desktop and home cockpit setups, combining physical controls with integrated system displays in a modular format.
You can pre-order the WINGFLEX GMP Gear Manage Panel on their website.
