A_A Sceneries previews Kuala Lumpur for P3D v4

It’s not often that we see news about a P3D v4 addon, let alone one that hasn’t released yet. A_A Sceneries’ Kuala Lumpur exists for FS2004 and FSX, but not for P3D yet. They are working on that now. There is no news about an eventual MSFS conversion yet.

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (WMKK) is the biggest airport in Malaysia and ranks quite high in Asia and worldwide. It’s a hub for seven airlines and sees almost 60 million passengers walk through its terminals on a yearly basis. You can find flights to destinations on all continents in the Western Hemisphere. The airport has three runways, each more than 4 km long.

The developer explains in the comments why he is working on a P3Dv4 scenery when P3D v5 and MSFS have released already. A_A Sceneries is a one-man band, and it is not easy to keep updated with all the latest and greatest technologies in the scenery developing world. If he has to apply all the new possibilities to his existing sceneries, he can’t work on anything new anymore. He’d spend all his time working on the same projects to make sure it works. He does say that he wants to move to the new simulator.
