AeroSachs Releases Tecnam P2002 JF Sierra for MSFS2024

Aircraft developer AeroSachs has released its rendition of the Tecnam P2002 JF Sierra for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The Italian light aircraft was developed in collaboration with real-life pilots of the type to ensure it’s as accurate as possible.

The Tecnam P2002

The Tecnam P2002 JF Sierra is a two-seat light aircraft manufactured by the Italian company Tecnam. It was designed in 2002 to meet the criteria for both the Very Light Aircraft and Light Sport Aircraft regulations of Europe and the USA, respectively. It features a 100 hp Rotax 912 S2 engine that pushes it to a cruise speed of around 120 knots. Several factors, such as the bubble canopy and low maintenance costs, have made this aircraft a favorite for flight schools worldwide. Tecnam would later develop a new version, the Sierra MKII, that features a slightly different exterior design and modern Garmin G3X Avionics inside.

AeroSachs P2002

AeroSachs’ P2002 JF Sierra is based on an early version of the aircraft, featuring the older design and steam gauges that would later be updated in the Sierra MKII version of the aircraft. According to AeroSachs, it was developed in close collaboration with real-life pilots to ensure it’s as realistic as possible in the simulator.
