The co-joined development of the A340-600 by Aerosoft and ToLiss has finally come to the official release stage. The aircraft has been released today, with the release being announced just a few moments ago through Aerosoft’s Facebook page.

The A340-600 is an aircraft that doesn’t need any introduction. Until the certification of the 747-8i, it was the longest passenger jet to ever soar the skies. Virtual pilots may now enjoy it in their simulators, alongside the iniBuilds A340, which is basically a direct competitor to the Aerosoft’s version.

Aerosoft and ToLiss teams have released an accurate iteration of the A340-600, which features a highly detailed exterior and interior model and systems developed specially by ToLiss. This is, namely, visible on the aircraft’s EFB, which mildly reminds one of the ToLiss ISCS screen in X-Plane. There are custom-built animations, accurately representing the aircraft’s behaviour in the skies. It has even gotten to the point where the developer allows customisation of wing flex to your desires.

In the EFB, we may find features like take-off and landing performance calculators, Simbrief OFP display, and an interactive checklist system. The flight controls are also realistic, managed by custom-built hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems. The ADIRUs have also received their own simulation model.

The Aerosoft and ToLiss A340-600 is available now through the Aerosoft Store for an introductory launch price of €69.99. The regular purchase price of the aircraft is €79.99.
