Axonos Previews Palm Springs for X-Plane 11

Axonos Palm Springs was yesterday previewed by the development team through their Facebook page. Read more here!

Axonos, formerly JustAsia, is an X-Plane 11 scenery developer responsible for many airport sceneries. Casablanca, St. John, Memphis and Jackson Hole are some of their most popular renditions. Yesterday, the team showcased their upcoming scenery of Palm Springs Airport (KPSP) through their Facebook page.

In the Facebook post, Axonos showed four different screenshots of the airport area. Two of those showcase the main terminal of the airport and its surroundings, the third one shows the airport control tower and the last one shows the runway texture. However, Axonos shared the runway texture preview through their Discord.

The Palm Springs Airport rendition by Axonos is also available for Microsoft Flight Simulator. However, the people in the comments below yesterday’s previews pointed out that the already released version doesn’t have jetways, while the X-Plane 11 one does. This immediately arose the question of jetways in the Microsoft Flight Simulator rendition. Unfortunately, the team already said that due to SDK limitations in Microsoft Flight Simulator, there won’t be jetways available in their scenery.

Lastly, Facebook users in the comments asked about the X-Plane 12 version of this scenery. Axonos mentioned that this Palm Springs Airport scenery will be released for X-Plane 11. However, there will be an upgrade to X-Plane 12 version available when it’s relevant.

The team didn’t yet reveal the release date, pricing, nor full feature list. However, if you would like to learn more about Axonos, you can read our different articles here.
