The developer BlueBird Simulations has shared a smaller development update regarding their highly anticipated Boeing 757 for Microsoft Flight Simulator and MSFS 2024.

Sherv from the BlueBird Simulations team began the post by saying thank you to the supporters of the development, and is expecting the release of this aircraft this year. However, no specific quarter of the year has been given for the possible release.

With the amount of progress done, he is also aiming to create a video, giving an in-depth overview of the new changes made to the aircraft series. Once that is done, one more video will follow, which will announce the release date and show in-depth features of the aircraft.

The FS2024 version of the aircraft is going to be free and is going to be released later than the initial release for MSFS 2020. The 757 Freighter, alongside other future projects, are going to be released only for MSFS 2024.

Some new previews of the aircraft were shared as well. This includes both rendered previews as well as in-simulator screenshots, showing the cockpit.

Lastly, Sherv mentions that the work on the 757 won’t end with the initial release and is going to be well-supported with small, free updates, further improving the aircraft. He has also thanked everyone for their support of GoFundMe for one of the developer team members, which you can read more about here.
