CaptainSim Updates 757 to v1.6 for P3D4/5 & FSX

CaptainSim have been supplying highly detailed, study level, airliners to the flight simulator community for over twenty years. The 757 variant, available for P3D4/5 and FSX, is a popular product which has now received an update. It fixes known bugs, adds improvements and introduces new features.

Released on the 5th October 2020 the update now brings support for P3D5 as well as improvements to the glass rain effects (GlaCS). Refresh rate and definition settings for the CRT display can now be altered in the Aircraft Configuration Editor. PAX and CDU cargo can also be configured. CaptainSim have also added fully functional oxygen equipment.

CaptainSim have fixed some known issues including the shape of the throttle quadrant, problems regarding FD at TO (now fixed to 8 degrees pitch at take-off) with guidance for speeds now within the parameters expected.

Other fixes include some issues regarding saving flight where symbols would be corrupted and difficulty with the P3D4 Autoland not saving. Improvements have also been made to the Aircraft Configuration Editor, lights FX, the position of the winglet strobe light and EPR calculations.

The update can be accessed via the CaptainSim site. Log in to your profile, navigate to the product and click Extended Download Service and then download the latest version.
