DC Design has today taken to their Facebook page to announce the release of their long-awaited rendition of the legendary Concorde. In fact, the aircraft development has been completed on September 19th, but it took some time to Just Flight to actually put the aircraft on sale.
The aircraft rendition features, for example, highly-detailed 3D model, custom animations, multi-stage “nose droop”, or PBR implementation. Furthermore, custom night lighting is featured in the aircraft together with realistic handling throughout the flight, including the supersonic phase.
Developers were never aiming for a study-level Concorde rendition. It was even mentioned multiple times, that we cannot expect this aircraft to reach the level of FSLabs Concorde.
DC Designs’ Concorde is designed to provide a top-quality aircraft that is extremely detailed, yet less demanding to fly than today’s most complex procedural simulators.
