iniBuilds held a brand-new livestream regarding their much-anticipated A350 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. This livestream follows up on the one held last week. The main focus of this presentation is showcasing more of the aircraft and releasing information about it. The first part of the livestream was a showcase and commentary about the multiple features coming with the base add-on. The second part was a flight demonstration of the A350, showcasing systems in flight. At the end of this presentation, they revealed the price and launch window of the A350.

Visual Effects
iniBuilds started the livestream by stating that more work and updates will arrive for the A350 after its launch. Including improvements on some of the features that will be shown in this livestream. They plan on shipping all these features to have a seamless experience while using the A350. Also, it was noted that multiple features are intended for MSFS 2024 as this is where the add-on was going to be released initially.
They started by showcasing how they modeled the PFD to be as close to reality as possible. iniBuilds showed some pictures to compare the real PFD and the one in the simulator. Multiple effects are also showcased in this segment.
Structural vibration gives the wing, horizontal stabilizer, and engines a shake effect. This is better seen from the cabin into the wings and outside the aircraft. Other visual effects showcased were weather-related. Condensation effects are available with this add-on and will appear if the weather conditions allow it. iniBuilds showcased them in the wings and the engine.
Bird Strike and GPS Jamming
Emergency scenarios are available in the A350 and can be triggered directly from the EFB. The developer showcased both these situations in a short video. The first situation showcased was a bird strike. They showcased the aircraft’s response to the bird strike. This situation also adds a feature where visual damage is applied to the aircraft. In the video, we can see damage to the aircraft’s nose and engine.
GPS Jamming is the second scenario where the aircraft loses GPS capabilities. This is also shown in a video where the systems respond to the loss of the GPS. For the moment, both these situations are triggered manually by the user. However, iniBuilds has confirmed that random functionality will arrive in an update post-launch.
Cabin and Liveries Customization
The next segment showcases different cabin and exterior customization options for the A350. iniBuilds wants the cabin to have as many details as possible. Livery creators can customize the seats and cabin textures.
Multiple details like ventilation, cameras, and lights can be found outside the aircraft. These details can also be added or removed depending on the livery. For those who want better performance, there is an option to disable the cabin. The developer also showcased cabin lighting and other details throughout the cabin.
Systems, Sounds, and More
The rest of the feature showcase was dedicated to some systems and sounds in this aircraft. Ambient sounds like the PTU and brake fans were showcased in a video. Engine and APU sounds inside and outside the aircraft are showcased here too. They talked about a time acceleration feature for long flights. A top-of-decent pause and auto-step climb options are available and compatible with time acceleration. CPDLC functionality was also showcased in the livestream.
A350 Flight Demonstration
A developer from iniBuilds did a flight demonstration of the A350. He started by doing a walkaround outside showcasing the features previously shown in the livestream. Engine cowlings can also be opened in this aircraft during a walkaround. He then jumped inside and showcased more of the cabin and other new features like the crew resting area and a flight attendant panel to control lighting inside the cabin and other features.
The demonstration flight started by taking off from an airport in the simulator and showcasing some more of the systems in flight. Some more features like wing lighting and brake-to-vacate were shown in the demonstration.

To conclude, iniBuilds will release a full list of launch features, liveries, and more answers about the A350 next week. Liveries will be available from the iniManager and their forums. iniBuilds will give some content creators access to the A350 to showcase it soon.
