Alongside the announcement of A350 v2 and the A380 development update, the developer has shared the new, reworked Dubai Airport (OMDB) v2 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The previews shown were shared by the developer through their social media accounts.

The improvements to this scenery are quite substantial, with reviewed and rebuilt assets, and there are changes made to the modelling, texturing, geometry and general detail. The interior has been reworked as well. The iniBuilds team mentions that significant improvements were made to the A, B, C and D gates, giving the exterior a refreshing look. The control tower was not left behind either.

In the reworked interior, we can notice a lot of detailed clutter, including vending machines, signs, timetables and seating areas. A lot of improvements were made to the ground textures, night lighting and the surrounding area.

In addition, the iniBuilds team has shown a preview image of the Airbus A380 at Gatwick Airport, which received compatibility with their multi-jetway system. The Dubai v2 scenery is no exception either, and we may expect multi-jetway compatibility on the release. A full changelog of the update to iniBuilds Gatwick is available on the forums.

Lastly, it is worth mentioning that this version of iniBuilds Dubai Airport is going to be available completely free of charge for all current owners of the scenery. The team has mentioned it should be released soon.
