Orbx Announces Newcastle International Airport for Prepar3D

Orbx Head of Operations, Ed Correia, has yesterday announced via the Orbx forums Newcastle International Airport (EGNT) scenery for Prepar3D v4 and higher. The scenery was originally announced at Cosford in late 2019 and is currently close to the release.

Over 5 million visitors a year pass through the doors from leisure routes operated by narrow-body jets to Las Palmas & Santorini and long-haul visits to Dubai in a 777-300ER. This is the perfect airport for those wanting something a bit more regional, but with an international appeal.

The scenery will feature PBR textures, stunning 3D modelling, SODE Jetways, VDGS support, compatibility with TrueEarth and EU England products, or 30cm per pixel ground imagery, for example.
