Available at the Parallel 42 store and free for current owners of Widows Peak for MSFS (2020), this release marks a significant milestone as the developer leverages MSFS 2024’s enhanced capabilities to deliver a richer, more detailed environment.
Set in Wyoming, USA, 25 miles north of Circle B Ranch, Widows Peak is a gorgeous and challenging airstrip that tests your skills while providing the perfect backdrop for stunning screenshots. The scene boasts high-fidelity 3D models and custom vegetation, with textures optimized for MSFS 2024’s advanced rendering engine. According to the release notes, Jeppeson2001, Parallel 42’s Head of Scenery Design, has poured meticulous effort into crafting a landscape that feels “next level,” featuring sharper details, dynamic lighting, and an atmosphere that breathes life into every landing.
Whether you’re touching down for a quick stop or setting up camp, //42 has designed this strip to pair perfectly with its companion add-ons such as the Campout utility or the recently released Juice Goose UTV, enhancing the off-runway exploration vibe that Parallel 42 is known for.
