ProjectFLY Ceasing Operations After 6 Years

A famous and one of the first-ever modern, universal tracking software, ProjectFLY has recently ended its operations. This information was shared through their Facebook page.

It was a popular tracking application, that allowed its users to create schedules as they enjoy, create virtual fleets and keep track of their virtual journeys in a flight simulator. It worked with any possible commercial flight simulator, such as FSX, Prepar3D, X-Plane and, obviously, Microsoft Flight Simulator.

ProjectFLY stopped working on Monday, 13th of March 2023. The reason behind this is that Matt Davies, the creator of ProjectFLY and a famous flight simulation content creator on YouTube on Twitch, passed away after his health complications.

If this was the way you tracked your flights to this day, you might want to take a look at Volanta and SimToolkitPro, which were direct competitors to ProjectFLY.
