RDPresets Releases New Faro Scenery for MSFS

The development team of RDPresets, responsible for a wide range of add-ons for Prepar3D, X-Plane and Microsoft Flight Simulator, released a new scenery for the Asobo’s platform. The team has taken to their Facebook page to announce this release and the scenery is now available via their website.

Faro International Airport (LPFR) is an international airport serving one of the largest cities of Portugal – Faro. It is named after Gago Coutinho, a Portuguese geographer, cartographer and aviation pioneer. In 2023, the airport handled over 8 million passengers and 55 600 total flights. The airport was opened in 1965 and is operated by a single runway. Ryanair and Easyjet are the largest operators of this airport, offering routes to Manchester, Madrid, Amsterdam and even London Southend.

RDPresets created a realistic replica of this airport with completely custom modelling and texturing with PBR textures covering the whole rendition. There is also a custom 3D interior with 3D passengers and more than 1000 clutter objects on the apron and the surrounding area. RDPresets didn’t forget about the airport’s functionality and included realistic and functioning VDGS, making ground operations for all virtual pilots easier.
