RWY26 Simulations Releases Montego Bay Airport for X-Plane

There are not many sceneries out there of airports in Central America for X-Plane 11. However, many developers are working on fixing this and filling the demand from the community.

Central America offers the user a plethora of flight options. Flight simmers can enjoy doing short hops around the nearby islands, or flying tourists from North America to the islands. There is also a wide range of long-haul flights available connecting the region with Europe.

The team from RWY26 Simulations has decided to change this by releasing a new scenery in the region. Their rendition of Donald Sangster International Airport (MKJS) offers what every flight simmer expects from a scenery.

For those unfamiliar with the area, the Donal Sangster Airport is an international airport in Jamaica serving the nearby city of Montego Bay. The airport is located just off the coast of the Caribbean Sea and beside the city, hence offering a very scenic approach and departure.

Having said that, the scenery features HD ground textures making use of PBR materials, custom 3D grass and trees along custom night lighting. On top of that, the developers have implemented the SAM suite into the scenery allowing users to operate jetways and be navigated by marshallers.

The scenery can be purchased through SimMarket for €16 with taxes excluded.
